JB did this album with the Dee Felice Trio. He made a couple of albums with them as well as producing an album for them. They do standard covers and as well as a couple of JB selections. The sound is different than when he plays with his regular band but JB pulls the deep funk out of this jazz trio. Many a sample has been pulled from this LP.
